About the Role
- We are looking for tech-savvy professionals who know Salesforce inside and out. The Technical Architect (TA) at Platinum River INNOVATIONS is paramount to client success. On behalf of the client, the TA is the integral in translating client requirements into elegant technical solutions that scale and will be viewed as both an industry and solution professional.
On a day-to-day basis, the TA is responsible for technical architecture & design, code, test classes, integration architectural patterns as well as DevOps. Cross system designs should be articulated in UML or a similar diagraming framework. The TA needs to have strong Consulting Capabilities, Salesforce Development Experience and the ability to Learn additional technologies and sub-industry domain topics. Furthermore, the TA may mentor and grow other team members’ capabilities in the technical domain.
Responsibilities:
- Work with key business stakeholders and internal resources to understand process and business requirements for assigned features to translate them into detailed technical specifications and architectural blueprints.
- Build robust code using APEX, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Visualforce, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Perform Unit Testing of Configuration/Development work performed.
- Support junior developers through code reviews and technical mentorship. Ensure that all code adheres to coding best practices
- Ensure Test Class Coverage.
- Manage DevOps, Migrate/Deploy changes, and ensure adherence to version control and deployment best practices.
- Ensure Feature elegance, reuse, scalability, and align with best practices
- Predisposition toward a consultative client-first approach, providing the client with key design options, pros/cons and allowing the client product owner to make an informed decision.
- Predisposition toward Native Platform capabilities first, AppExchange Solutions second, and customization (code) only if required to meet the desired business outcome.
- Work with the Engagement Team to manage the Client’s expectations to ensure a successful implementation, referenceable client, and future value delivery opportunities at assigned clients.
- Design and Configure/Develop the Salesforce portion of integrations.
- Configure SSO, Real Time Provisioning, and other related security features
- Evaluate existing Salesforce implementations and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Stay current with Salesforce platform advancements, new features, and industry trends.

Requirements
Competencies:
Demonstrated command of Agile/Scrum methodology is required.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills with a focus on being clear and concise.
Strong systems analysis and technical design skills, implementation, and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience:
5-10 years of experience in Salesforce design & development in a consulting environment or equivalent.
Financial Services Cloud experience is required
2+ years working with Financial Services Organizations, Insurance/Wealth preferred
Salesforce Architect Certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified System Archtiect) are highly desirable
Experience with Mulesoft, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, or Agentforce are nice to have
Bachelor's degree is required
