About the Role
- We are looking for tech-savvy professionals who know Salesforce inside and out. The Mulesoft Architect at Platinum River INNOVATIONS is paramount to client success. On behalf of the client, they are integral in translating Integration needs into Integration Architectures, Designs and perform development within Mulesoft's Anypoint platform. The Mulesoft Architect will also forecast usage of Mulesoft and impacts on the license forecast. The ability to balance enterprise design best practice adherence with practical design aspects to balance design purity with speed and cost is imperative.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of MuleSoft integration solutions aligned with client business goals and best practices
- Build robust APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (API Designer, Runtime Manager, DataWeave, Exchange)
- Develop integration strategies and patterns (system, process, experience APIs) following API-led connectivity principles
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and architectural blueprints
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Support junior developers through code reviews and technical mentorship
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, version control, CI/CD, and deployment best practices
- Evaluate existing integration landscapes and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Stay current with MuleSoft platform advancements, Salesforce integration capabilities, and broader industry trends

Requirements
Competencies:
Demonstrated command of Agile/Scrum methodology is required.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills with a focus on being clear and concise.
Strong systems analysis and technical design skills, implementation, and problem-solving skills.
Experienced in integration design patterns, API management, and enterprise architecture best practices
Education and Experience:
5–10 years of experience in integration design & development in a consulting environment or equivalent
3+ years MuleSoft Anypoint Platform experience required
MuleSoft Architect or Developer certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect, MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, MuleSoft Certified Developer) highly desirable
Experience integrating with Salesforce, Financial Services Cloud, or other enterprise platforms is preferred
2+ years working with Financial Services Organizations, Insurance/Wealth preferred
Nice to have: Experience with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Omni-Studio, or Agentforce
Bachelor’s degree is required
